1.03 Codes & Standards

  1. NFPA 72 — National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, edition as adopted by the AHJ.
  2. Texas Insurance Code Ch. 6002 and the Texas Fire Alarm Rules (28 TAC §34.600 series).
  3. IBC / IFC and local amendments as adopted by the authority having jurisdiction.
  4. Equipment installed per manufacturer's listed installation instructions and listings.
  5. Plans, permits, and acceptance testing coordinated with the local AHJ as required.
